Things to do when you move…

In the last month, I’ve bought a new car and moved house. I always forget to do something necessary when this happens, so I’m drawing up a list of things to do…

1. Order Internet (because priorities!)

2. Contact Post Office to have my mail forwarded from my old address

3. Contact Bank to update home address for my account and credit card

4. Update address/car with car insurance

5. Complete change of address form with DMV and put in the mail

6. Buy the stuff which the previous house had but the new one doesn’t (e.g. kitchen equipment)

7. Send new address to friends and family

8. Send your updated address to your parish

9. Human Resources Department at work

Last chance to register for the “Restless” Retreat!

Registration will be closing soon for the “Restless” Retreat. This is a free, one day retreat at St. Catherine Laboure this Saturday, April 14th:
SPC

The theme of the retreat is being taken from St. Augustine’s famous line, “You made us for Yourself, O Lord, and our hearts will wander restless until we rest in you”. I swear I did not pick the retreat theme… 🙂

We will have speakers including Jamie Cleaton and Timmerie Millington.

Lunch will be provided. Did I mention this was free?

Help! What should we call this?

HELP PLEASE! My friend Nessa and I are starting a podcast, but we need help with the name…

We’ve been meeting up for the past few weeks to record some prototype episodes. Each one has been 15-30 minutes long and topics have been pretty broad-ranging:

  • “Worship in the Early Church”
  • “Dating non-Catholics”
  • “Getting more out of the Mass”
  • “13 Reasons Why”
  • “Getting to grips with the Old Testament”
  • “An introduction to Confession”

…what should we call the podcast?
