  • The next thing is our drink-of-the-week, which today is Ardbeg, which has the following tasting notes in Michael Jackson’s Complete Guide to Single Malt Scotch:
    • Color: Pale gold
    • Nose: Sweet, with soft peat, carbolic soap, and smoked fish
    • Body: Medium, firm
    • Palate: Burning peats and dried fruit, followed by malt and a touch of licorice
    • Finish: Long and smoky. Fine balance of cereal sweetness, iodine, and dry peat
