- The next thing is our drink-of-the-week, which today is Ardbeg, which has the following tasting notes in Michael Jackson’s Complete Guide to Single Malt Scotch:
- Color: Pale gold
- Nose: Sweet, with soft peat, carbolic soap, and smoked fish
- Body: Medium, firm
- Palate: Burning peats and dried fruit, followed by malt and a touch of licorice
- Finish: Long and smoky. Fine balance of cereal sweetness, iodine, and dry peat
