What have you got against Christianity?

I’m friends on Facebook with a gentleman who was one of the assistant ministers at a Protestant parish I used to attend. He has since become the vicar of a different parish in another part of the country. For the purposes of this post, I’m going to call him Father Tow.

A few weeks ago, I had a rather strange conversation with Father Tow. It was prompted by his posting the following image on Facebook:

Being a huge C.S. Lewis fan, I immediately recognized that this was a common misquotation. What Lewis actually wrote was:

Which Pope said that?

I’m really pleased that the media is receptive to Pope Francis, but I am still a bit mystified as to their level of enthusiasm. Pope Francis is certainly more charismatic then Pope Benedict, but he was a shy introverted academic so that’s hardly a surprise! A busy road ahead

You may have noticed that there wasn’t a post yesterday. That’s because this month has been getting insanely busy.

Between work, Daughters Of The King, Theology On Tap and life in general, I’m going to be really short on time/sleep for the next few weeks.

Instead of writing my regular posts, I’m just going to post a new quotation each day.

Normal Pilgrim activities should resume in March… 🙂

God bless,
