“…Our Lord finds our desires, not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.” – C.S. Lewis

“Saints need sleep.  Even prophets play” –  Scott Peck

“Not one hundred people in the United States hate the Roman Catholic Church, but millions hate what they mistakenly think the Roman Catholic Church is” – Archbishop Fulton Sheen

“For Christ plays in ten thousand places, Lovely in limbs, and lovely in eyes not his To the Father through the features of men’s faces.”
– Gerard Manley Hopkins
You may have noticed that there wasn’t a post yesterday. That’s because this month has been getting insanely busy.
Between work, Daughters Of The King, Theology On Tap and life in general, I’m going to be really short on time/sleep for the next few weeks.
Instead of writing my regular posts, I’m just going to post a new quotation each day.
Normal Pilgrim activities should resume in March… 🙂
God bless,
Pilgrim
