Music Monday: Holy Spirit

Something a little different for the final Music Monday of the month. Here’s “Holy Spirit (you are welcome here)” performed (mostly) acapella by David Wesley:

There’s nothing worth more that will ever come close
No thing can compare, You’re our living hope
Your presence, Lord

I’ve tasted and seen of the sweetest of loves
Where my heart becomes free and my shame is undone
Your presence, Lord

Holy Spirit, You are welcome here
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your presence, Lord

I’ve tasted and seen, of the sweetest of loves
Where my heart becomes free, and my shame is undone
By Your presence, Lord

Let us become more aware of Your presence
Let us experience the glory of Your goodness

I’ve been playing around with the graphics program Canva recently and if you’ve looked at the Restless Pilgrim Facebook page recently, you’ll have seen the fruit of this.

One of the graphics I produced has been particularly popular so I thought I’d share a high resolution version of it here on the blog, together with a printable PDF version. I’ve also made a version for the iPhone “Locked” Screen.

Manvotional: Winston Churchill

I’m a regular reader of the website The Art of Manliness. I love their content, but wish that more of it was made available in audio format, in particular the “manvotionals”. At the moment I’m trying to get hold of the guys who run the site to make this request and also to offer my services as part of the team who’ll provide the audio version of their posts.

As part of my pitch, I’ve recorded a recent “manvotional” posted on their website from the autobiography of a man who is consistently voted as being the greatest Briton of all time, Sir Winston Churchill.
