Islamic Prophets
In my post on Surah “Hud”, I asked a question. If there have been thousands of prophets sent by Allah, why is it that we are repeatedly told about the same ones? I mean, we hear the stories of Noah, Hud, Salih, Abraham, Lot and Moses again and again…
This piqued my curiosity, so I searched for a list on the Internet of all the prophets mentioned in the Qur’an. It turns out that, in total, twenty-five are mentioned. Here they are, together with the names used for them in the Arabic text:
Today you show a photo of the Kaaba. Lately, whenever I see it, I imagine an ominous chorus of voices saying, “We are Islam. You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile.”
Friday Frivolity? A small rejoinder to your St. Nick as a Klingon. Too edgy?
Maybe a little too edgy
as a muslim i am proud of who i am because i followed my heart like my prophets may Allha swt bless them and other muslims who follow their lead they will always be our admires forever and reading the list of prophets made me say allahamdullia for their worship if we follow their lead and carry on their legacy if you think you regret being a muslim dont think that you have done the correct thing is which you belive in if people say muslims are bad ignore them and forgive them
The problem is though that the writings of these prophets regularly contradict what came in the Qur’an, such as repeatedly claiming that God is our Father.
