Part of my reason for putting these documents onto MP3 is to make it easier for people to understand how the Early Church worshiped. Unfortunately, there are a lot of myths out there about what these early services looked like. Personally, I find it really interesting looking at the development of liturgy through the centuries, growth and continuity:

You may have heard about the upcoming movie “Mary of Nazareth”, a film about the of the Mother of the Lord. When Fr. Calloway was visiting San Diego last month he was raving about this movie, having had the opportunity to see an early preview.
St. Rose of Lima, Chula Vista, is showing Mary of Nazareth at UltraStar Cinemas in Chula Vista Center on the following two dates:
Saturday, December 14th at 11:00 a.m.
Sunday, December 15th at 11:00 a.m.
Tickets will be on sale this weekend at St. Rose of Lima in Chula Vista. Tickets will be sold after all masses this Saturday (5:00 and 6:30 p.m.) and Sunday (7:00, 8:30, 10:00 and 11:30 a.m, 1:15 and 5:00 p.m.).
Tickets may not be available day of the showings, so if you plan to attend, please buy your tickets as soon as possible.
