LOL, so true. My housemate is 7 years younger than me, and I tend to forget that gap most of the time. That is, until I’ve dropped some sort of cultural reference only to have her stare at me blankly… :/
HA! Kids these days don’t realize how good they’ve got it. I miss the days of wooden ships and iron men. And cassette tapes. Well, maybe not cassette tapes so much.
Somewhere I still have some cassette tapes. I don’t know why, since I certainly don’t listen to them any more. But, oh, for the days of walking to school, wearing my teal Converse high-tops and listening to New Kids on the Block on my Sony Walkman. 😉
Back then it totally was.:) Along with the tapes I have some other memoribilia, I think in a box in my old childhood bedroom. Remember those ridiculous unauthorized biographies? LOL
Happy Birthday once again, DB. From reading everyone’s posts, it seems that the only concern is not being understood by the next generation. I do not hear any reports of decline in acuity, ability, or performance…so life is good 🙂 I would like to propose a toast to youthful zest and spring in step. Cheers!

Well, happy birthday gramps!
Your picture brings back many annoying memories….
Pax.
not nearly as impressive as knowing what an 8 track tape looks like…
or those funny black circles they call “vinyl”
8 Tracks!!! We had those…there I go again…aging myself.
We use to have a JukeBox that played vinyl singles. That was actually pretty cool.
Feliz cumpleaños David! You do not look a day over 19.
