For me, the chief offender here is &#8220;the modesty talk&#8221;.\u00a0Now, to be clear, I have heard some excellent talks on modesty. However, I&#8217;ve also\u00a0sat and listened to\u00a0many which I thought were asinine, prudish and made me roll my eyes until I felt dizzy.<\/p>\n<p>This week I came across this video by Emily Wilson where she expresses similar frustrations. She too gets irritated when the primary reason given for girls dressing modestly is to not lead men to lustful thoughts. She thinks that the primary reason for dressing modestly lies somewhere else&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Emily gets it. Emily dresses classily.
