How about the number just in the US?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><del><strong>1.37 Million<\/strong><\/del> <strong>638,169<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.37&#8230;.<strong><em>million<\/em><\/strong>&#8230; Even that number is too large for me to even attempt to visualize&#8230; What would that be per day?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><del>3,700<\/del> 1,748<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over three and a half thousand abortions a day in the USA&#8230; To put that into context, September 11th, the event that shook the world, claimed approximately <strong>2,977<\/strong> lives&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I recall hearing a soundbite on TV of a certain politician defending the current abortion laws and saying that he wanted abortion to be\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000\"><em>&#8220;safe, legal and rare&#8221;<\/em><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m sure there&#8217;s constant medical progress towards protecting the mother&#8217;s health during the abortion procedure.<\/p>\n<p>Abortion is certainly legal.<\/p>\n<p>But rare?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"860\" height=\"484\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sski0eebAAo?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I\u00a0looked up\u00a0the number of abortions which happen worldwide in the space of a year.\u00a0The number was truly shocking: 42 Million 56 Million 42&#8230;.million&#8230;that number is just far too big for me to even try and wrap my head around.
