I don&#8217;t have the moniker of &#8220;Restless Pilgrim&#8221; for nothing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m intending to travel around the States, seeing friends and\u00a0revisiting some of my favourite cities, as well as exploring some of the places which have remained too long on my &#8220;To Do&#8221; list&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The goal of these trips isn&#8217;t simply to be a tourist. I will have to get a job again at some point, so I will be talking the opportunity to meet with local companies and possibly do some job interviews. However, the thing I&#8217;m really looking forward to is serving at local churches along the way.<\/p>\n<p>In the past I&#8217;ve spoken at <strong>&#8220;Theology On Tap&#8221; <\/strong>(<em><a href=\"http:\/\/restlesspilgrim.net\/blog\/2016\/03\/27\/worship-in-the-early-church-mp3\/\" target=\"_blank\">Example #1<\/a>\u00a0|\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/restlesspilgrim.net\/blog\/2013\/10\/24\/reading-the-bible-for-all-its-worth\/\" target=\"_blank\">Example #2<\/a>), led <strong>Bible studies<\/strong> and organized <strong>swing and salsa evenings<\/strong>. I&#8217;d love\u00a0to\u00a0make myself useful and offer my services in these areas, free-of-change, as I travel around the States.\u00a0I don&#8217;t need a stipend or travel expenses.<\/p>\n<p>So,\u00a0if you&#8217;d like me to come to your parish,\u00a0please forward this link to the relevant person at your parish and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/restlesspilgrim.net\/blog\/contact\/\" target=\"_blank\">send me an email<\/a>. In this talk I go through a few key principles to employ when being called upon to defend what you believe.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Knock, knock. Who&#8217;s there?<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nWhat do you do when a Jehovah Witness or Mormon comes to your door? Over the course of this talk, I explain the origins of these groups and give some guidance\u00a0on how to speak with them in a constructive way.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>No God but God: An introduction to Islam<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\nApproximately 23% of the world&#8217;s population identify as Muslim, but many Christians know\u00a0relatively little about Islam.
