Everyone else will think that this is just weird \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Below is an entry from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebigjewel.com\/thomas-aquinass-childhood-journal-excerpts\/\">childhood journal<\/a> of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Thomas_Aquinas\">St. Thomas Aquinas<\/a> which formed part of his early <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newadvent.org\/summa\/2003.htm\">Summa Theologica<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Article XXXI:<\/strong> Whether I stole Laurie\u2019s apple juice during nap time?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em><strong><\/strong>Objection I:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0It would seem that I stole Laurie\u2019s apple juice during nap time. For it was said: \u201cThomas, go sit in the corner. And say you\u2019re sorry to Laurie for drinking her juice\u201d (Miss Ellen).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Objection II:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Further, once in the corner, I wedgied Billy and made him eat glue.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cafepress.com\/+i_love_st_thomas_aquinas_infant_bodysuit,180193355\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/restlesspilgrim.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/aquinas.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"336\" height=\"336\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>On the contrary,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0it is written: \u201cShare everything\u201d (that poster on the wall, right above the carpet where Billy puked up the glue).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>I answer that<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0we all have to share like it says on the poster. Firstly, because Holy Writ says so: \u201cGod loves a cheerful giver\u201d (2 Corinthians 9:7). Also, everyone has to share because sometimes they have lots of something (juice, for example) that they never even drink and that someone else (me, for example) wants. When I play with my blocks, Miss Ellen makes me share with that Greek Orthodox kid, even though they\u2019re my blocks and he picks his nose and smells and is dumb. Hence, I should get to have juice when I\u2019m thirsty. For the best part about school is the juice (except on Fridays when we get chocolate milk).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Reply to Objection I:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0If I have to share my blocks with a smelly nose-picker, then Laurie has to share her juice. I was only sharing her juice, just like the poster says. For the poster says to share everything, and \u201ceverything\u201d includes juice. Hence, Miss Ellen shouldn\u2019t have made me sit in the corner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong><em>Reply to Objection II:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0He started it<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Okay&#8230;theology nerds, you&#8217;ll appreciate this.
