Today I thought I&#8217;d do a quick follow-up with a few more&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2>Lazy Students<\/h2>\n<p>Most people choose life verses which are inspiring, which call them forth to greatness and holiness&#8230;but what if that&#8217;s not what you really want? What about if you&#8217;re happy and comfortable with failure and laziness? Well, in that case, this is the life verse for you&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #993300\"><i>Of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness of the flesh.<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211; Ecclesiastes 12:12<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>The recently-shaved<\/h2>\n<p>I go bearded from time-to-time. After I shave it off, I always think of this passage:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #993300\"><i>When it was told David, he sent to meet them, for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, \u201cRemain at Jericho until your beards have grown, and then return.\u201d\u00a0 <\/i>\u2013 2 Samuel 10:5<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Housemates<\/h2>\n<p>I live in a house with three other guys. I&#8217;m going to recommend one of them in particular to adopt the following passage as his life verse:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #993300\"><i>He who blesses his friend with a loud voice, rising early in the morning, it will be counted a curse to him. \u00a0<\/i>\u2013 Proverbs 27:14<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Garlic Lovers<\/h2>\n<p>If you overindulge in smelly foods, then this is the life verse for you..<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #993300\"><em>\u201cMy breath is\u00a0offensive to my wife,\u00a0And I am loathsome to my own brothers.<\/em> &#8211;\u00a0Job 19:17<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>The Married<\/h2>\n<p>The Book of Proverbs has many wonderful verses concerning romantic relationships and marriage. If you fail to heed the book&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Proverbs%2031:10-31&amp;version=RSVCE\">advice concerning a desirable wife<\/a>, it offers the following consoling life verse&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #993300\"><i>A quarrelsome wife is as annoying as constant dripping on a rainy day. Stopping her complaints is like trying to stop the wind or trying to hold something with greased hands. \u00a0<\/i><br \/>\n&#8211;\u00a0Proverbs 27:15-16<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If this is your life verse, I&#8217;d suggest that it&#8217;s probably best not to share it with your wife \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<h2>The Single<\/h2>\n<p>For those committed to the bachelor life, there&#8217;s always this verse from the Book of Proverbs:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><span style=\"color: #993300\"><i>It is better to live in a desert land<\/i><\/span><span style=\"color: #993300\"><i>\u00a0than with a contentious and fretful woman<\/i>.<br \/>\n&#8211; Proverbs 21:19<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Those Who Carpool<\/h2>\n<p>Finally, a very specific life verse for those who frequently carpool.
