However, prior to the check-up, I was weighed by a nurse. I was utterly horrified by the number which appeared on the scales:\u00a0<strong>175lbs<\/strong>.\u00a0I knew I hadn&#8217;t been exercising much and I knew that I had been comfort eating, but I didn&#8217;t think it was <em>that<\/em> bad!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/restlesspilgrim.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/sweet-body.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"237\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The following week I returned back to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sandiegobootcampexperts.com\/\">Boot Camp<\/a>, determined to lose the weight. In fact, I set myself the goal to return to the weight I was when I first came to America, <strong>155 lbs<\/strong>. I&#8217;ve been going to the 6am class every weekday and cutting down on my food portion sizes.<\/p>\n<p>Well, today I had my first weigh-in since I&#8217;ve tried losing the weight:\u00a0<strong>167 lbs<\/strong>. That&#8217;s <strong>8lbs<\/strong> in a month and a half.
