My name is <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"David Bates (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/restlesspilgrim.net\/blog\/speaking\/biography\/\" target=\"_blank\">David Bates<\/a> and, in addition to talking about C.S. Lewis on my podcast, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pintswithjack.com\/\">Pints With Jack<\/a> , one of my favourite things in the world is to visit other groups of Catholics and encourage them in their faith. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have been invited to speak at conferences, retreats and diocesan events in California, Washington, Kansas,\u00a0 Missouri, Michigan, Texas, and Canada. These talks are typically on <strong>Church History<\/strong>, <strong>Sacred Scripture<\/strong>, <strong>Chastity<\/strong>, <strong>Evangelization<\/strong> and <strong>C.S. Lewis<\/strong>. Over twenty different talks have been recorded and are <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"available for download (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"http:\/\/restlesspilgrim.net\/blog\/speaking\/talks\/\" target=\"_blank\">available for download<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response to my talks and work as a podcast, I have also been <a href=\"http:\/\/restlesspilgrim.net\/blog\/speaking\/interviews\/\">a guest on a number of different podcasts and radio shows<\/a>, including <em>The Counsel of Trent<\/em>, <em>Forte Catholic Radio Show<\/em> and <em>The Catholic Man Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you would like me to come and give a talk at your parish, please just\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/restlesspilgrim.net\/blog\/contact\/\">send me an email<\/a>.
