Protestantism

The Reformation had a seismic effect on Christianity in the Western world in the 16th Century and many of its tenants are appealing to those in 21st Century. I have written basic responses to two of the core principles of the Reformation: Sola Scripture  (Bible Alone) and Sola Fide (Faith Alone). I also wrote a piece called Canon Questions, in which I invite Protestants to attempt to answer questions about the Bible without referring to the Catholic Church or Church authority. Since most forms of Protestantism also assert some form of Great Apostasy in the Early Church, I’d also invite anyone to answer my Apostasy Question, as well as explaining why this mess up happened. I also address why Catholic Bibles are bigger.

Additionally, I have written about some of the stranger parts of Protestantism, such as The Prosperity Gospel, The Biblical Prohibition Against Alcohol and Eternal Security (Once Saved, Always Saved).
